Cancellation:

The tenant is entitled to withdraw from the contract before the rental period begins. In the event of such a cancellation, the landlord is entitled to claim compensation as follows:

• Cancellation up to 45 days before rental start: 10% of the rental price
• Cancellation 44 to 33 days before rental start: 30% of the rental price
• Cancellation 32 to 22 days before rental start: 60% of the rental price
• Cancellation 21 to 12 days before rental start: 80% of the rental price
• Cancellation 11 days before rental start or later: 90% of the rental price

The tenant is expressly allowed to prove that no damage occurred or that the damage is significantly lower than the flat fee. The tenant has the right to provide a substitute tenant who fully takes over the rental contract. A processing fee of €50.00 may be charged for this. In this case, no cancellation fees will be charged.
